En México la certificación de competencias laborales se obtiene a través de los Estándares de Competencia. Estos Estándares de Competencia permiten a las empresas evaluar con fines de certificación a sus empleados en las habilidades y conocimientos necesarios para realizar de manera efectiva tareas laborales en un área determinada.
